One of My Favorite Home Remedies for Constipation & Hemorrhoids & my ULTIMATE FIBER STRAWBERRY RECIPE to help Stop Constipation
Even when I am not constipated, one of my top remedies for constipation is eating a Fruit Smoothie almost every day. It is packed with fiber
to help avoid getting constipated.By adding Psyllium Fiber and or Ground Flaxseed, you increase the amount of fiber greatly. I started out with small amounts first and slowly increased. Smoothies also provide Important Antioxidants to help fight off many diseases. Enjoy, you will look forward to making this everyday. When you have everything in one area, you can make a smoothie in as little as 3 minutes. I truly believe that constipation, in most cases, is a choice because of the now horrible American diet. We are digesting way too much processed food with salt and preservatives and who knows what else. My very favorite way on how to stop constipation is just one of the many constipation remedies I will offer you.
Here is the basic Fruit Smoothie Recipe to Stop Constipation:
I prefer Blending Fruit to Juicing Fruit and Vegetables to keep the valuable fiber and to help fight against chronic constipation and other diseases. Yes, juicing will give you lots of vitamins and nutrition that is easily digested but keeping the valuable fiber will also help your digestive tract to keep moving and you still get incredible nutrition.
ULTIMATE FIBER STRAWBERRY SMOOTHIE
In a Blender, Ninja or Magic Bullet, Blend the Following:
1 – 1 1/2 Cups Frozen Strawberries ( thaw slightly to make it easier on your blender )
3/4 Orange Juice
Crushed Ice (optional)
Optional: 1/2 tsp to 2 tsp Benefiber (start out with 1/2 tsp The Clear Choice Benefiber or Metamucil Coarse Psyllium Fiber)
2 TBS Ground Flaxseed (start out with 1 tsp and work up to 2 TBS as tolerated)
Blend in a Blender, Vitamix Blender or NutriBullet Blender.

Suffering from constipation is not only painful but can have long term consequences such as Fissure, Hemorrhoids or worse. Seek a doctors opinion if your constipation is not due to your eating habits. I found out the hard way that you can not necessarily stop constipation by eating healthy. You may have a Gluten Intolerance or Sensitivity so eating the normal Whole Grains may in fact constipate you as they seem to constipate me. I went on a Gluten Free Diet to test this theory out and waa laa, that is one of my many answers that I share on this site.
