Here is the Recipe that I promised to give you that I think you will really enjoy. I mentioned even my granddaughter likes it and is willing to eat Green Leafy Spinach Salads with this great dressing. It is Healthy, Delicious and Nutritious. It is fun to add different variations of flavors for fun and variety. This healthy oil also is great for your digestive tract.

Healthy Flax Seed Oil Dressing

Base:
4 ounces Flax Seed Oil
8 ounces Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tsp minced garlic (I used garlic in a jar for convenience & milder & put 2 TBS of Garlic but I love Garlic)
2 TBS Honey
1 tsp Celery Seed
1 tsp Mrs Dash to Taste
1 TBS Dried Onion Flakes
1/4 tsp Pepper
1 TBS Whole Flaxseed if desired

Variations: Add to the Base only one of these variations at a time or use your imagination and contact us with ideas.

1. 1 TBS Stone Ground Mustard

2. 1/4 pureed raspberries (Frozen or Fresh)

Mix all the base ingredients in a glass jar and shake really, really well. If you are using the Optional Dried Onion Flakes, let the dressing sit in Refrigerator for 10 minutes before using. It is actually better after it sits for several hours or days but I often use it right away. Shake Every Time before putting it on your salad. ENJOY!

• Benefits of Flax Seed oil exceed just one of the many home remedies for constipation but a generally very healthy oil. 1 TBS contains approximately 1.8 Grams of the plant based Omega 3 Fatty Acid. The Lignans which have estrogen and antioxidant qualities contain many, many more times more lignans than other plant foods.

Flaxseed also contains both soluble and non-soluble fiber.
Some people have even called it the most powerful plant food on this earth. It could help to reduce your risk of cancer, stroke, heart disease, diabetes, etc….

You can find Flaxseed in many different foods like, Cereals, including the Gluten Free varieties, Oatmeal, Frozen Waffles. I put 2 TBS in my daily Fruit Smoothies (see other articles with those recipes). You can purchase it in the golden colored as well as the normal brown colored seeds. I even enjoy munching on the seeds plain. Weird, huh.

I love it when the seeds are in some liquid and soften and the flavor and texture are really nice. Some say you get the most nutrition from the actual seed when it is freshly ground. That takes an extra step so I typically buy it ground and keep it in an airtight Ziploc bag in the freezer or refrigerator.

Flaxseeds are a great fiber source too. The oils are good for constipation too. Just one of the many home remedies for constipation you can find on www.StopConstipation.Net .
