I have been thoroughly enjoying the wonderful Ripe Peaches and Nectarines which are in season right now. There are so many delicious things you can do with Peaches and Nectarines. First off, Buy them Now, Wash them Up, Cut in Small Pieces and Freeze. If you lay them out in one layer, slightly separated, on a Jelly Roll Pan or a Large Cutting Board, then you place it in the freezer and Waa Laa, you will be able to enjoy this luscious fruit even in the winter for your Fruit Smoothies. You can make this Refreshing Watermelon Nectarine Smoothie with the peaches instead (with or without the skin). This is more of a snack, not a meal because it only contains 149 Calories.
