I saw a package of cookies in the store saying they were gluten free?

Are foods naturally gluten free or do companies design them that way?


Gluten is a protein found in Processed Food that come from Wheat and other Grains, which also include Rye and Barley. The Gluten gives food its Elasticity. In dough it assists in the rising of bread and helps keep its shape leadind to a chewier texture.

I usually lose weight when I eat Gluten Free. At first it is because I didn’t know what I could and couldn’t eat so I went for the foods that I knew didn’t have Gluten in them naturally, such as Fruits, Vegetables, Brown Rice. I looked up some of my favorite foods that are good for me and pretty much kept to that. I would snack a bit on Gluten Free Crackers too but not too much snacking because Gluten Free Products can be high calorie too and not as much fiber so beware. Just because it is Gluten Free doesn’t mean it is healthy. Try to fill your diet with Lots of Deep Green Leafy Vegetables and Colorful Fruits and you should be able to lose weight and stop constipation. Did you ever notice that when you eat a lot of Gluten you get Constipated. Try eating Gluten Free to see if that helps stop constipation, it did for me, along with of course drinking lots of water and eating your fruits and vegetables.

Manufacturers have come a LONG way in producing better tasting Gluten Free Foods. I even noticed a HUGE difference in the last 5 years or so. Creating Gluten Free Products costs more and takes more time. When I couldn’t find good Gluten Free Bread, I made my own. It was really delicious compared to the store bought but now you can find much better tasting cereals and breads on the market. So, stores do need to produce the Gluten Free Products.
